While Milan’s Design Week 2008 officially gets under way Wednesday, Tuesday was preview day in Zona Tortona, home to a slew of off-site or Fuori Salone exhibitions. It started out of doors with the Bloom Bloom Flower Car Stop that was sponsored by the Flower Council of Holland, featuring cars decorated by Arik Levy, Arne Quinze, Studio Job, Karim Rashid and Fredrikson Stallard. Bisazza showed installations by Jaime Hayon and Andrée Putman, and there were amazing spreads of work at Superstudio Piú, including Tom Dixon, Moooi and Marcel Wanders. But this is just the beginning … An appetizer selection of photos after the jump.
